Originally hailing from L.A., I'm a Seattle-based UX Designer, mentor, team builder & coffee geek, experienced in delivering impactful B2B & B2C facing products, Design Systems & innovative solutions across startups, nonprofits, agencies and enterprise level companies.
Fueled by the "Three C's" (coffee, curiosity & creativity, ☕️ 🧐 🎨), I am obsessed with crafting simple solutions to complex problems & humanizing technology. For me, communication & collaboration is everything!
My love for creating initially led to careers within the performing arts & coffee industries, where I was able to combine my curiosity for understanding peoples’ behaviors, needs & goals with my passion for art & design to craft delightful customer experiences in those spaces. This sparked the journey to transition my career into UX Design! As a designer, my background in business management, customer service, leadership & the arts constantly influences my approach to strategizing and crafting human-centric experiences that balance the needs & goals of both business and user.
In my off hours, I enjoy giving back to the design community - I am a Co-organizer and Mentor Advocate Team Lead at IterateUX, and provide 1:1 UX & Product Design mentorship on Design Buddies, IterateUX & The Mentoring Club platforms as well as through the iMentorship Program at University of Washington's Information School, and frequently lead UX & design workshops in collaboration with community initiatives.
Life outside design? I enjoy traveling around the world (Turkiye is next!) 🌍, exploring the local art & specialty coffee scenes, and love coming up with new coffee recipes & latte art designs of my own. (Fun fact: I'm a multi-time latte art champion, judge & coffee educator) ☕️ In my free time, I love learning languages, playing my flute (I was a music major in college) 🎵, rollerskating (yes, my quads are pink) 🛼, taking long walks, and connecting with friends.

My design process focuses on release cycles and user validation, and is collaborative, holistic, iterative, adaptable & flexible - I am constantly mixing different methodologies such as Double Diamond & Design Thinking, pivoting & adjusting my process according to the unique needs and constraints of each project.
My systems approach draws inspiration from my background in music composition and notation. 🎵
